About Us
The story begins on the Kenai River in Alaska in 2008 where a fishing guide met a professor from a Southern University. Together with the University we did the necessary research to create a bait that would slowly release a natural marine based attractant. The goal was to create a product that wouldn’t harm the natural habitat and wouldn’t wash off when casted. The original product was a roe substitute so that anglers wouldn’t need to kill a female salmon to cure their eggs. The first iteration of our salmon eggs, was patented and rolled out in July of 2013. Since then, we have developed and patented additional formulations of our hydrogel. This has also lead to the evolution of our fresh and salt water attractants. Currently, we offer a number of our hydrogel baits in different shapes and sizes with 6 offerings of soaks. We are continuing to improve our product line, coming out with new hydrogels, new colors and new soaks. Now Fishing Physics provides both retail and commercial baits and soaks for fishing in any type or body of water. With endorsements from professional anglers like Christina Weber, you can count on these baits.
